A charming vintage Thun Bolzano ceramic angel music box, made in Italy and dating from the 1970s. The angel has the characteristic Thun-style face, warm golden and yellow tones, pale blue wings and a small bowl held in her hands. The flowing dress and softly hand-painted finish give the figure a warm and nostalgic appearance.
The base contains a Swiss Superstar music box movement, marked “Stille Nacht”, indicating that it plays Silent Night. The underside also retains its original retailer label from Sträter, Am Werther Brunnen. A lovely decorative piece for collectors of vintage Thun ceramics, Italian figurines and Christmas decorations.
