Striking vintage Schlossberg Keramik UFO vase, model 132/20, made in West Germany in the 1970s. The unusual low rounded body has a tall sculptural neck and large curved handle, finished in bright red with dramatic black and white Fat Lava glaze.
The highly textured volcanic glaze contrasts beautifully with the smooth glossy red sections and decorative raised band around the body. A bold and very decorative example of collectible 1970s West German pottery, perfect for a Fat Lava or Mid-Century Modern collection.
