Vintage SCHEURICH KERAMIK Red Orange and Yellow Fat Lava Vase 550 10 West German Pottery 1970s

This is an authentic Vintage Fat Lava vase, model 550-10, made by the influential producer, Scheurich Keramik, of West Germany. This collectible piece perfectly represents the vibrant and expressive design of the Mid-Century Modern and Fat Lava movements of the 1970s.

The vase features a classic squat, rounded form with a narrow neck, often used for small flower arrangements or as a decorative "bud" vase. Its surface is covered in an intense, glossy Fat Lava glaze featuring bright red and orange tones over a darker base, highlighted by striking, mottled yellow "lava" texture. The overall effect is highly decorative and characteristic of the 1970s era.

Scheurich Keramik was one of the largest and most successful manufacturers of West German Pottery (WGP). The vase's model number, 550-10, identifies the mold shape (550) and its height in centimeters (10 cm). This vase also still retains its original "Europ Linie" foil label, indicating it was produced for export.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Wear is minimal and consistent with age.
