This is a stunning vintage vase from Ruscha Keramik, one of the most innovative and influential producers of West German pottery. Dating to the 1960s, this piece features the iconic and highly tactile "Tibet-Karo" decor and form number 341.

The vase has a beautifully sculptural form with a large, integrated handle that complements its rounded body. The surface is defined by the unique "Tibet-Karo" decor, which features a thick, cratered yellow glaze applied in a distinct checkerboard pattern. This highly textured design provides a striking contrast to the smooth, underlying beige and brown base glaze.
