Vintage KREUTZ KERAMIK Red and Black Fat Lava Vase 429 West German Pottery 1970s

This fantastic vintage vase is a bold and energetic example of West German Pottery (WGP) from the 1970s, produced by the highly creative Kreutz Keramik. It features a striking combination of glazes in the desired Fat Lava style.

The vase is marked with the form number 429. It is adorned with a dramatic glaze blend of red and black, with the signature thick, textural "lava" glaze dominating the surface.

Kreutz Keramik was one of the many specialized potteries active in West Germany during the height of the Fat Lava movement. While not as large as Scheurich or Bay, Kreutz is known for producing pieces with distinct forms and particularly aggressive and appealing applications of the volcanic glaze effects.

Condition: Overall good vintage condition, no cracks, no chips. Some scratches on the glaze, see pictures.
