A tall, striking vintage vase, an authentic piece of West German Pottery by JASBA KERAMIK from the 1968's.
The vase features 2 prominent handles and a robust shape. Its surface boasts a deeply embossed, geometric relief pattern. Ancient motifs from South American cultures were brought to new life in this series "Mexico" from Jasba.
Jasba Keramik was a major WGP producer. It was founded by Jakob Schwaderlapp in 1926. They were celebrated for their bold forms and unique molded decors. The 'N' on the base confirms this piece is from their popular 1960s/1970s production series.
