This beautiful West German studio pottery vase was made by Heinz Pelzer (*1924, Düsseldorf) .
The rounded organic shape, narrow neck and soft earthy glaze give this piece a calm and very artistic mid-century look.
The surface has a wonderful speckled glaze in warm brown and muted blue-grey tones, creating a natural and understated studio pottery effect. The vase is signed on the base with the artist’s monogram, indicating its authentic handmade production by Heinz Pelzer.
