Elegant vintage Heinrich & Co. Selb Bavaria porcelain vase, model 1894, made in Germany during the 1960s. The tall rhombic form is executed in matte white porcelain and decorated on all sides with rhythmic horizontal raised ribs, creating a striking geometric Op Art effect.
Heinrich & Co. in Selb was an important Bavarian porcelain manufacturer whose post-war production included distinctly modern designs alongside its traditional tableware. During the 1960s, Heinrich produced a range of minimalist white relief vases characterized by geometric surfaces and strong architectural forms.
