A charming and highly collectible ceramic figurine designed by the renowned Swedish designer Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg, Sweden.
This figurine represents Kalle, one of the beloved characters from the famous Larsons Ungar (Chubby Larson’s Kids) series produced from 1964 untill 1980.
Kalle is beautifully hand-painted with a bright green hat and trousers, combined with a blue and white striped shirt. Kalle's hat was inspired by the woolly green hats that Lisa Larson's sister, the designer Titti Wrange, made.
These figures have become highly sought after by collectors of Scandinavian ceramics and Lisa Larson's work, making them wonderful display pieces for both vintage and modern interiors.
Kalle is in good vintage condition with normal age-related wear and minor glaze imperfections consistent with production and age. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
