This vintage ceramic vase is a classic Fat Lava design, as shown in the photos. It was made by Dümler & Breiden in West Germany during the 1970's.
The vase features a deep blue base with a bold red lava glaze dripping over the surface. It has a strong rounded shape with a textured and glossy finish.
Dümler & Breiden was a well-known West German pottery maker famous for Fat Lava ceramics. Their vases from the 1960s and 1970s are well documented and widely collected.
