This is an exceptional vintage vase from the renowned Dumler & Breiden, a master of West German pottery since 1883 . Dating to the 1980s, this piece is a bold example of the later "Fat Lava" style and features the unique "Pampas" decor.
The vase has a classic rounded shape that beautifully showcases its complex glaze and sculptural details. The body is adorned with a thick, bubbly "Fat Lava" glaze in a mix of earthy browns, blues, beiges, and whites. A distinctive, rope wraps around the middle of the vase, adding a tactile and dynamic element to the design.
