Beautiful vintage blue pressed glass vase made by Rosice Glassworks in Czechoslovakia, designed by Rudolf Schrötter. The heavy sculptural form features distinctive oval lens-like impressions that beautifully refract the light and give the vase its characteristic Mid-Century Modern appearance.
This design dates from 1955 and is often known as the Lens or Bullet vase. A wonderful piece of vintage Czech glass and an attractive collector’s item for lovers of Sklo Union and mid-century glass design.
Condition: Overall excellent condition, no cracks, no flakes, no repairs, no scratches.
