This beautiful vintage vase was made in West Germany during the 1970s. The elegant cylindrical shape is finished in rich shades of red, orange, brown, and black, creating a warm volcanic glaze that fits perfectly in Mid Century Modern, Brutalist, or contemporary interiors. The base is marked with the letter "L", although the maker remains unidentified.
Its timeless design makes it a wonderful decorative piece, whether displayed on its own or with a few dried flowers or branches. The combination of earthy colors and the classic bullet shape makes this an eye-catching example of vintage West German studio pottery.
Condition
Good vintage condition. There is one minor scratch on the red glazed surface (see photo 3). No chips, cracks, or repairs.
