Vintage ceramic wall plaque by Carstens Tönnieshof, made in West Germany during the 1960s. It features a highly textured stylized rooster in vivid blue, green, red and yellow tones against a warm orange background.
The relief decoration, bold colors and graphic folk-art design give the piece a strong Mid-Century Modern character. It retains its original metal hanging chain and displays beautifully as a statement wall decoration.
