Beautiful vintage ceramic table lamp made by Carstens Keramik in West Germany in 1967 and designed by Rudolf Christmann.
The sculptural ceramic base has a strongly textured ribbed surface in natural beige, brown and cream tones, typical of the expressive German ceramic designs of this period.
A wonderful original Mid-Century Modern lamp that works beautifully as an accent or bedside light. The lamp is fitted with an on/off cord switch, European EU plug and E27 bulb fitting; lampshade and bulb are not included.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition with normal minor signs of age and use. The electrical cord, switch and plug are shown in the photos.
