Beautiful vintage Bitossi rectangular slab vase, model 727/15, designed by Aldo Londi in the iconic Rimini Blu series. The surface is richly decorated with impressed geometric and abstract motifs beneath vibrant turquoise and deep blue glazes, giving the vase its characteristic textured appearance. The Rimini Blu collection has been produced since 1959.
Made in Italy during the 1960s, this sculptural vase is a wonderful example of Mid-Century Italian ceramic design. The model number 727/15 is documented as a Bitossi Rimini Blu design by Aldo Londi, and the underside of this example retains the handwritten markings.
This vase is in excellent vintage condition.
