Beautiful vintage Bay Keramik vase, model 74/30, made in West Germany during the 1960s–1970s. The tall cylindrical form has a softly flared neck and a striking relief surface with abstract motifs, finished in cream and petrol blue.
Bay Keramik was one of the major producers of post-war West German decorative ceramics, experimenting extensively with molded surfaces and contrasting glazes. The combination of geometric relief, strong blue accents and the elongated architectural form gives this piece a distinctive Mid-Century character.
