A beautiful vintage Bay Keramik vase, made in West Germany in 1972. This piece has a rounded, elegant form with a deep dark brown base glaze and a striking white-and-grey Fat Lava style glaze running down from the neck.
The contrast between the smooth dark body and the textured, speckled upper glaze gives the vase a strong mid-century modern look. This decor is called : "Eiger" and the vase comes from the "Formserie 66"
The vase is marked underneath with Bay Keramik, 66-20, and W. Germany. It is in excellent vintage condition. A lovely collectible piece for lovers of West German Pottery, Bay Keramik and 1970s Fat Lava ceramics.
