This beautiful vintage Bay Keramik handled vase comes from the Töpfermeister-series by Ernst Stauber and his model 77-25, features an elegant combination of glossy green and textured white glazes with a striking embossed floral pattern. This decor is called "Fünen".
The sculptural shape and rich colours are characteristic of Bay Keramik's highly collectible designs from the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Bay Keramik was one of the largest and most innovative West German pottery manufacturers and became famous for its bold decorative designs and experimental glazing techniques. This eye-catching piece makes a wonderful statement in both Mid-Century Modern and contemporary interiors.
Condition
The vase has some damage to the bottom rim, which is reflected in the lower price. Please study the photos carefully. Apart from this, it remains a beautiful decorative piece with lots of character.
