Striking vintage Murano art glass Taurus bull sculpture, attributed to Andrea Tagliapietra. The clear hand-blown glass beautifully emphasizes the powerful rounded body, curved horns, expressive head and sculptural legs. The highly decorative form has the dramatic, fluid character associated with mid-century Murano animal sculptures.
A wonderful statement piece for collectors of Italian art glass, Murano animals and zodiac-inspired décor. The transparent glass catches the light beautifully and makes the sculpture especially impressive when displayed on a shelf, sideboard or in a glass cabinet.

Condition: This large bull is in good vintage condition. It has two production failures, bubbles (see photo 7 + 8) and unfortunately missing a chip on one of the back legs
