Vintage Rosenthal Studio-Line “Pollo” vase designed by Tapio Wirkkala, made in Germany during the 1970s. The sculptural asymmetric form is finished in matte white porcelain with a distinctive raised dotted texture around the neck.
The Pollo design is one of Wirkkala’s most recognizable organic forms for Rosenthal and has a strong Space Age and modernist appearance. Its clean monochrome finish makes the unusual shape and surface details stand out beautifully.
