This exceptional and rare large double handled vase was created by French master ceramist Gilbert Méténier in Gannat, France, during the late 1920s to early 1930s.
Finished in the iconic and highly collectible "Gannat Blue" glaze, this elegant Art Deco design features elongated proportions, graceful twin handles and beautiful green flowing accents around the neck.
Gilbert Méténier was renowned for elevating his family's pottery workshop into one of France's most respected ceramic studios, with his pieces sold in prestigious Parisian department stores during the Art Deco era.
