Striking vintage vase by Silberdistel Fayencen, made in West Germany during the 1970s. The tall rectangular form is finished in a brilliant glossy red glaze with subtle dark brown-black variations, characteristic of Silberdistel’s expressive glaze work from this period.
A beautiful example of 1970s West German pottery, combining a clean architectural shape with an intense red glaze. The minimalist form gives the vase a strong Modernist appearance.
