Striking vintage Brickwork glass vase designed by Jiří Zejmon for Rudolfova Huť / Sklo Union in Czechoslovakia in 1969. Made from heavy clear pressed glass, the vase has a strong architectural surface of projecting rectangular blocks combined with finely textured panels.
Also known as Panelák, the design refers to the geometric façades of prefabricated apartment buildings characteristic of post-war Czechoslovakia. Its combination of industrial pressed-glass production and bold sculptural geometry has made Brickwork one of the most recognizable Czech glass designs of the period.
