Vintage Fohr Keramik planter from West Germany, dating from the 1970s. The flower pot has a bold black and orange drip decor with a heavily textured Fat Lava surface and strong volcanic glaze effects.
The simple cylindrical shape lets the dramatic glaze take center stage, with orange tones breaking through the rough black surface in an almost molten pattern. A striking and highly decorative example of collectible West German Pottery.
