Vintage Dümler & Breiden ceramic vase model 135/25, made in West Germany around 1963. The tall tapered form combines a rough charcoal-black surface with glossy horizontal bands of warm orange, olive green and black. This decor is called "Konsul".
The strong conical silhouette and contrast between matte texture and glossy glaze give this vase a distinctly architectural Mid-Century look. Model 135/25 was produced by Dümler & Breiden in several different decorative finishes, making the form a particularly interesting example of the factory’s varied glaze designs.
