Rare vintage Czech art glass vase designed by Jaromír Špaček, made in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s. The heavy cylindrical form combines deep blue-grey and clear glass with amber accents, white fiber-like trails and small metallic inclusions suspended inside the glass.
The layered sommerso construction and experimental internal decoration give the vase a highly expressive studio-glass character. A striking collectible piece of post-war Czech glass with strong sculptural presence and unusual material effects.
