A striking vintage Zell Schmider vase in a beautiful deep red speckled glaze, designed by Anneliese Beckh.
The décor is called “Vulkano”, one of Zell Schmider’s well-known and successful designs, still in production into the late 1970s. The rounded body and narrow neck give this piece a very elegant mid-century silhouette, while the vivid red glaze makes it a real eye-catcher.
Marked on the base with form number 4563-A. This West German pottery vase dates from the 1960s–1970s and is in good vintage condition with normal age-related signs. A lovely collectible piece for lovers of West German pottery, Fat Lava era ceramics, red vintage décor and mid-century modern interiors. Please see all photos for details.
