A charming and highly collectible hand-painted wall plate by Swiss ceramic artist Willy Aebi, produced in Hasle, Switzerland during the 1960s.

This delightful decorative plate features a stylized flower girl in traditional folk dress, surrounded by colorful floral motifs and a vibrant border in red, blue, green, and orange. The design is painted in engobe (colored clay slip), a technique for which Willy Aebi became well known.

Willy Aebi worked in Hasle, in the Emmental region of Switzerland. His hand-painted ceramics often depict children, animals, and traditional Swiss folk motifs. Each piece was individually decorated, making every example unique.

The original hanging wire is still attached and the plate is ready to display.
