A beautiful vintage Scheurich Keramik planter, made in West Germany in the 1970s. The planter features a striking glossy red-orange glaze fading into warm yellow, combined with a heavily textured dark brown and black Fat Lava glaze around the lower section.
The strong colors and contrasting textures make this a wonderful example of classic 1970s West German Pottery. A decorative piece for a Mid-Century Modern, retro or contemporary interior, either displayed with a plant or simply on its own.
