This vintage ceramic vase is a classic Fat Lava design, as shown in the photos. It was made by Scheurich Keramik in West Germany.
The vase features a bright orange glaze with dark brown and black lava texture. The bold zig zag pattern and strong shape give it a striking look.
Scheurich Keramik was one of the leading West German pottery makers. Their Fat Lava vases from the 1960s and 1970s are highly collectible and well known online.
