Vintage French wall tableau signed REM’S, dating from the 1970s. The artwork depicts Don Quichot with shield and spear in a striking stylized design with blue, purple, green and red details.
The raised image appears to combine embossed or tooled leather with painted and glazed details, mounted on a warm wooden panel. A distinctive piece of French mid-century wall art with a strong decorative character.
