This stunning Murano Sommerso glass bowl was handcrafted in Italy and is attributed to Alessandro Mandruzzato, one of the best-known Murano glass artists of the mid-20th century. The bowl features a vibrant ruby red interior, surrounded by a warm amber-yellow layer and encased in thick crystal-clear glass with a beautiful frosted "snowflake" texture. Its heavily faceted octagonal shape catches and reflects the light from every angle.
Made during the 1960s-1970s, this authentic Murano art glass bowl still retains its original Murano Made in Italy label. A beautiful sculptural piece that can be displayed as a decorative bowl, vide-poche, catchall, or centerpiece in both modern and vintage interiors.

Good vintage condition with only light signs of age and use. See photo's.
