Striking vintage Mobach Keramiek vase, handmade in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and dating from the 1970s. The compact cylindrical form has softly rounded shoulders and horizontal throwing lines, finished in a rich red and burgundy glaze with darker mottled and textured areas.
Mobach has produced handmade ceramics in Utrecht since 1895, with pieces traditionally wheel-thrown or formed by hand and finished with the workshop’s own distinctive glaze recipes. The impressed Mobach mark on the base confirms the workshop attribution.
