This striking vintage porcelain vase was produced by Kerafina Porzellanfabrik in West Germany in 1973 and belongs to the beautiful Swing series. Its sculptural shape and concentric relief pattern create a strong visual effect, making it a wonderful example of 1970s German design. The design is also featured in the reference book "Fat Lava Style" by Mark P. Thomas on page 296.
The base is marked with form no. 796/30. The matte white biscuit porcelain gives the vase a calm and timeless appearance, while the bold relief design makes it a true statement piece. It looks beautiful on its own or with a few simple branches and fits perfectly in Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian, Brutalist, minimalist and contemporary interiors.
