This elegant vintage elephant figurine has a lovely sculptural shape, with the trunk raised upwards — often seen as a symbol of good luck. The soft grey-white glaze gives the piece a calm and timeless look, making it easy to style in both vintage and modern interiors.
The exact maker is not confirmed. The model is very similar to known German porcelain elephant figures, especially GDR / East German examples attributed to Gräfenthal or Lippelsdorf. Cortendorf is also a possible direction, but there is no visible maker’s mark. One foot has an impressed mould number 869.
