Vintage ES KERAMIK (Emons und Sohne) Black and White Fat Lava Planter Flower Pot West German Pottery 1970s

This ceramic flower pot or cache pot is a classic piece of West German Pottery. It was created by the manufacturer ES KERAMIK during the 1970s.

The planter has a wide, cylindrical form and is fully glazed inside and out. It features a bold black base glaze heavily decorated with thick, contrasting white volcanic-style Fat Lava. This piece showcases a dramatic and textural look often sought after by WGP collectors.

ES KERAMIK, or Emons und Söhne, was a smaller but highly expressive WGP company operating out of Rheinbach. They are known for their experimental and highly textured Fat Lava glazes, distinguishing their pieces from larger producers.
