This jar is in excellent condition.
Made in Bürgel by Carl Fischer in the late 1950s.
Carl Fischer (1891-1969), born in Saxony Döbeln, was trained at the ceramics school in Bunzlau. He earned a manufactory in Bürgel and founded the Bürgeler Art Ceramic workshop (BKW).His daughter Marieluise Fischer, who was the last apprentice of the famous Bauhaus ceramist Otto Lindig, continued the business afterwards.
