This rare vintage vase is part of the highly collectible "Vercuna" series, introduced in 1965 by Theodor Hoffmann & Co. (teha), for Driburg Kristall, Germany.
The striking design combines emerald-green ribbed glass with an aged copper mount decorated with applied glass cabochons, creating a beautiful blend of Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, and Brutalist aesthetics.
Original Vercuna pieces are increasingly difficult to find and are highly sought after by collectors of German art glass and decorative design from the 1960s.
This vase is in excellent vintage condition. There is one small scratch to the glass, visible in the photographs. The copper mount shows an attractive original patina consistent with age, which enhances its authentic vintage character. Please review all photographs carefully.
