A stunning vintage art glass ikebana sculpture designed by Dragan Drobnjak and produced by the 9 October Glass Factory in Serbia during the 1970s.
This hand-blown glass sculpture features a soft icy blue tint and an organic circular form with multiple openings. The sculptural design was intended as an ikebana flower holder, but it is equally impressive as a standalone piece of modern glass art.
Drobnjak is one of the most important Serbian glass artists of the 20th century. His work is included in major museum collections, including the Glass Museum in Rouen, the Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade, and important glass collections in Nový Bor and Moscow.
The sculpture is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
