Stunning vintage Bay Keramik vase, model 66/20, made in West Germany around 1972. It features a vibrant orange base glaze covered with a spectacular thick Fat Lava decor in red, black and electric blue, creating a highly textured volcanic surface.
The rounded body and small flared neck give the vase a classic 1970s shape, while the dramatic glaze makes every piece of this decor unique. A fantastic and colorful example of collectible West German Fat Lava pottery.
The vase is marked underneath with Bay Keramik, 66-20, and W. Germany. It is in excellent vintage condition. A lovely collectible piece for lovers of West German Pottery, Bay Keramik and 1970s Fat Lava ceramics.
