This striking 1960s West German Pottery vase by Bay Keramik features the collectible Ceylon decor, designed by Bodo Mans. The low discus / UFO shape, bright yellow base glaze and bold red, turquoise and black pattern give this piece a wonderful space-age mid-century look.
The base is marked Bay Keramik with form number 1010-10, indicating its authentic production by Bay Keramik. The graphic design and unusual flat shape make it a great decorative piece for collectors of West German Pottery, Fat Lava ceramics and Bodo Mans designs.
Please note: there are two small imperfections on the bottom rim, as shown in the photos. The price has been adjusted accordingly. Otherwise it remains a beautiful and highly decorative vintage piece.
