Helmut Schäffenacker (Ulm, 1921 - † 2010) was a German artist and ceramicist who established his studio, Schäffenacker Keramik, in Ulm. He was a prominent figure in the post-war German art scene, known for his unique approach to ceramic design. His work is characterized by strong forms, abstract and figurative relief decorations, and a masterful use of glazes, making his pieces highly valued by collectors of West German and studio art pottery.
