Aiming to stand out from other glassmakers on Murano, he transformed the traditional workshop into an innovative studio where unique lighting pieces were created.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAround 1965, Gianni befriended his neighbor Carlo Nason, also a passionate glassmaker. Fascinated by A.V. Mazzega’s techniques—such as the ‘Incamiciato’ layering method—Carlo saw an opportunity to push his creativity further. After presenting his designs to an important American client, he convinced Gianni of his talent, marking the beginning of their collaboration (1965–1980).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBy 1970, A.V.
